Taj Cape Town

Taj Cape Town

Right, we're staying at the Taj! As a super fan of India, Mr. B was really looking forward to staying at the Taj in Cape Town.

After the camp, lodges and overnight train, Taj has seemed like a palace - except that we could actually stay here! Thanks to some credit card perks that Mr. B managed to get, we're booked in a room on the executive floor!

Upon arrival, our personal butler showed us around the hotel.

The room is grand and they also provide us with some honeymoon amenities.

Two separate bookings were made for us, so we've got to stay at 2 different rooms and have 2 bottles of wine ;p

However, the most exciting part of our stay (for Mr. B ) is the lounge access. Food is tasty and they offer free flow champagne! Who can resist the complimentary bubbly drinks?! Also, the "canapes" are no canapes. Even Mr. B said he's full and no need to have dinner lol.

Overall speaking I enjoyed the stay very much. The breakfast is not as good as expected...and the spa has been so full...But overall the service and room are great!
